PMI ATP FAQ

An ATP is an Authorized Training Partner of PMI. This is a title bestowed to training companies that have been thoroughly vetted and scrutinized by PMI, in order to ensure its caliber of training for their exams is up to the highest bar of excellence. Only a select few have qualified for entry into this program, with PMTI being handpicked by PMI as one of the first few progenitors for this new system.

Authorized Training Partner's (ATP) are specifically picked by PMI to offer their exclusive content to potential certification holders. They are able to offer PMI licensed material to their students that aren't available to the general public or offered by non-ATP trainers.

Any Authorized Training Partner (ATP) approved by PMI will not be able to offer self-study course packages for the PMP exam. Due to the complexity of the exam, instructor-led training is now mandatory for an individual's preparation. This represents a change on behalf of PMI to adopt a much more experiential rather than knowledge-based approach to exam testing and eventual success.
