I took the four day PMP boot camp through PMTI in preparation for taking my PMP certification exam. This boot camp was recommended to me by a fellow colleague who had previously taken it and passed their PMP exam on the first try. The only preparation that I did going into the boot camp was the practice exam that PMTI requests you take, which they provide access to via your student portal. The student portal is extremely helpful and has some great resources including practice exams, which you take throughout the four days of the boot camp. I highly recommend taking these exams multiple times to get you comfortable with the themes and format of the actual PMP exam. I would recommend reviewing all of the materials that PMTI sends to you prior to the boot camp, as the instructor led class days are pretty fast paced. I passed the PMP exam on the first try, largely in part to the PMTI boot camp. I would recommend this to fellow colleagues looking to take the exam.

Great bootcamp course and I recommend PMTI as a core element in the study regimen for anyone taking the PMP Certification. Alan B my instructor and PMP, was excellent. The PMTI staff/Yad were very helpful with any questions I had, from the application side to the prep side, the access to videos of the course were also very helpful, as were the materials, which synthesized the PMBOK and also gave other outside references also needed for the exam. The test exams were also very useful. I watched the videos all about 3 times from the beginning to the end and took all exams numerous times. Initially I was concerned about the course being a hack to the exam - but it covers a great deal of material, and in all honesty, the PMP test itself has extremely tricky wording. I probably went through thousands of exam questions through PMTI and other sources, so you begin to understand why PMTI has a method to approaching this exam. Highly recommended. If I had any piece of advice to PMTI students and PMP students: 1) Go through all material BEFORE taking the bootcamp, and make a multiple month plan. I started in July 2018, failed my first exam in February and passed the second time in March 2019. And I had gone through all videos before the bootcamp, I read the whole PMBOK covger to cover before the bootcamp. Even when I passed I was not sure until the result came on the screen. 2) Once you have at least generally learned the material, take many, many practice questions/exams and look at WHY you got questions wrong... there is a language to the questions which in many cases has NOTHING to do with the knowledge base. 3) Look up multiple sources for information, but have a core element for your training (like PMTI). 4) Go through the Math Sheet they give you, understand why the formulas are there - the questions are situational so you will need to COMPREHEND not just memorize. Learn the formulas, and then learn to invert the formulas - have them down like the back of your hand. Take a zillion practice questions... challenge yourself.. that is the key. 5) If you do no prep other than the bootcamp, it is my opinion you will not pass - the PMTI Materials are great. I used others as well but if it were not for PMTI's materials I would not have passed. Thank you PMTI! Please update your Special Topics videos to the Sixth Edition. The other videos are current but the Special Topics/exam review session videos are a little older. Thanks for everything and best wishes!
